Building on the proven performance of the Alpha Series platform, the Alpha Pro takes everything a step further—reducing weight and increasing cutting speed to deliver our lightest and fastest cutting auger yet.
The 8" Alpha™ Pro weighs just 14.3 lbs., with an incredible cutting speed of up to 3.8 inches of ice per second. This creates an exceptionally refined power-to-weight ratio to go along with unmatched cutting efficiency—up to 2000 inches of ice per charge from the included 4 Amp-hour, 40V battery.
Each detail of the Alpha™ Pro has been carefully re-evaluated to improve on what's come before. An even delivery of torque, crisp breakthrough, and a balanced ergonomic design is meant to feel great in your hands, while maintaining our signature smooth drilling experience.
A variable speed trigger lets you to ease into cuts and manage debris within a wheelhouse, while a composite bit is designed to be tough and flexible in cold temperatures. Reverse functionality flushes away slush in the hole as you'd expect, with drilling-activated LED lights that illuminate the ice beneath you.
It all adds up to a Pro experience, with an auger designed from the ground up for serious ice anglers. Reliable performance, power, and outstanding runtime when temperatures drop.
